Held meeting 12/06/06 a member present did not receive a FEMA grant. Discussed Coast Guard meeting. Discussed Radios and coordinating with police channels. No call outs for fire or 1st responders. Dick powers discussed Rural Development loan for a pumper truck. LLB is not interested in a new truck so CH is looking at the possibility of replacing two old trucks with one new, in the 07/08 or 08/09. Don Kiem from Miller Canfield will be meeting with the Board and Mountain Lodge representative, and various County people on Thursday December 14th on the mountain lodge water issue and on Fire truck loans.
LLB Fire Dept.
No Call out for fire or 1st Responders. Had meeting on 12/05/06 2 members absent, put specs together for new “truck” (skid) for their grant. They are going to Quincy Franklin Township FD to exam their new Brush truck for ideas. A group of firemen will go to the DNR in
Marquette
to look for a truck to use with the new skid, and they need to have proof of insurance with them in case they find one. They do not want a new truck but might consider a new chassis under their old truck. The Generator charging unit is still not working so Bill’s Electric is looking at it. It is still under warranty so they will have to check into that.
1st Responders
No call outs for CH or LOB

Old Business
Hunter’s Point update: We have received verbal notice that our grant from MNRTF for Hunter’s Point improvements has been approved.
Third Street
Rd. in LLB update: The Trustee’s felt that there were problems with the roadwork. Greg Patrick said there had been some Black Top inadvertently dumped on the road to make it look bad. Donna Waara mentioned it was not a very good job, Rick Olsen said there were lots of bumps and hoping the winter will smooth it out. It was supposed to be a base for future paving. Greg Patrick will be called and asked to meet with Meg and Gary to go over it and look at the problem. Rick Olsen wanted it pointed out that they did do a fine job in front of the FD and had fixed a problem with sand in front of bay #2.
